Cortnee attended King University in Bristol, TN, on a golf scholarship, to obtain her Bachelors in Marketing and Communication. She continued her education at King earning her Masters in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing. Prior to joining the faculty at Dalton State, Cortnee worked in marketing at The Double Cola Company in Chattanooga, TN, and taught adjunct at Cleveland State Community College. Cortnee is now a full-time lecturer for the Business Communications course and five Marketing courses. Outside of her work at Dalton State, Cortnee works part-time for Social Joey doing social media advertising, on Facebook and Instagram, for small and franchise businesses. In addition, Cortnee is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Marketing at the University of South Alabama.
